Update: The Lumia 925 will be available from Phones4U exclusively in black with 32GB storage
Nokia have finally taken the covers off the Lumia 925 in London this morning. What sets it apart from its predecessor, the Lumia 920, is its thinner Aluminium/polycarbonate body at 8.5mm. The device is a lot lighter at 139g compared to the hefty 185g of the Lumia 920. To achieve this Nokia have had to do away with wireless charging capabilities but it can be brought back using a snap-on cover. These covers come in black, white, red and yellow. (More pictures after the break.)

The colours of the phone itself consists of white, grey and anodized blacks. This is a very boring selection especially by Nokia standards.
The Lumia 925 is based on the the Lumia 920 so a lot of the internal hardware and specifications are going to be identical. All the display innovations of the Lumia 920 are present here such as the sunlight readability, super sensitive touch screen and fast screen refresh rate. The resolution stands the same at 1280 x 768. Its undisputed low light, blur free camera is also present with slight improvements. Windows Phone, being a very efficient OS, doesn't require bleeding edge specifications to operate so Nokia have opted to stick with the Dual-core 1.5Ghz Snapdragon S4 pro processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage as standard (non removable).

Availibility
Looks like Nokia have learned form their previous mistakes and are shipping the Lumia 925 a lot sooner. It will be in stores in June, no exact date has been given. Unfortunately though, Nokia are still going to give exclusivity to the highest bidder(s) which, this time around, is Vodafone, O2 and Phones 4U (I'm seriously questioning the meaning of exclusivity). It is most likely that the exclusivity period will end in a few months making the phone available to more networks. Pricing details haven't been given. I'll update you on the pricing when it comes out.
Update: The Lumia 925 will also be available from Phones4U exclusively in black with 32GB storage and O2UK exclusively in white

Personally, I'm disappointed because this mornings reveal could have been so much more. That's not to say this isn't a good phone but I'm not expecting this to make current Lumia 920 owners wan't to upgrade.
